In 2024, my goal is to engage in more intentional, slower reading and re-reading with a focus on classic literature. I will approach reading as "studying", meaning that I'll focus on re-reading, taking notes and journaling around what I read. I'm also going to revisit books I read as a teenager to experience them through my adult eyes.
I will read less but more intensely. Meaning and understanding will take precedence over quantity. The books I'm taking on are difficult. Cracking them will take time and effort. And that is the point.
I will be deliberate with the reason that pushes me to read each and every book and write at least one takeaway for each.
